First coming to the public

soon to be known more for her incredible vocal
tone and delivery, and the hook laden songs that
grab you from first listen and don't let go.
X Factor is not the whole story for Laura. While
she acknowledges the experience as being
incredibly positive and a stepping-stone to
getting her name to a wide audience, she has
concluded that not winning is perhaps best for
an artist like herself. Away from the
pressurized media furore surrounding the show
she has had the time to concentrate on her first
love –music.

Not many 22-year-old
singers can claim to have had their name raised in
debate in the houses of Parliament, and had over
50,000 people petition their controversial exit from
a TV show. Fewer still can claim to have had their
debut single produced by the man behind Madonna’s
global hit ‘Celebration’, and co-written by the an
Ivor Novello winning songwriter who previous credits
include George Michael and Stevie Wonder. But then,
Laura White is no ordinary 22 year old.

writing and vocal skills and concentrate on her
first love –music. Her as yet untitled album, due
early next year, already has the makings of a
remarkable debut, and one full of hits.
